I began working at the Law Office of Stephen M. Cohen while finishing Law School at night. As a paralegal, I drafted motions and memoranda of law, and conducted extensive legal research, focusing on insurance, liability, medical and health care issues. After being admitted to the bar,I became an associate of the firm, representing seriously injured persons, health care facilities and doctors. As a Junior Partner, I oversaw the firm's paralegal and investigation team. George A. Terezakis’ practice is based in Mineola, New York, and is concentrated in the areas of criminal and removal defense. Ashcroft, 346 F.3d 44 (2d Cir. 2003). He is the former President of the Nassau County Criminal Courts Bar Association, and a former member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He frequently lectures on the immigration consequences of criminal convictions.
