Roger Yehl attended SUNY Fredonia in which he received a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Following graduation, Mr. Yehl enrolled in the private law school of Thomas Jefferson in San Diego, California. Upon completion of Law School, he accepted a position with American Express Financial Advisors. Here, he obtained his Series 7 (stockbroker's license), Series 66, and California life and health licenses. These licenses permitted Mr. Yehl to act as a financial advisor for consumers. He then decided to pursue his interest of advocating for individuals in need of legal services.

Mr. Yehl successfully completed the New York Bar Exam in the summer of 2001. After which he worked for a practice in Kingston, New York. There he acquired many skills in bankruptcy, workersâ compensation, personal injury, criminal law, and social security disability.

Mr. Sokol was admitted to the Bar in December of 1980, after having graduated from the Cumberland School of Law in May of 1980. In September of 1980, Mr. Sokol was employed with McOmber & McOmber, P.C. as a law clerk and upon passing the Bar in December of 1980, he became an Associate with the office, eventually being elevated to Partner in 1986.

In working at McOmber & McOmber, Mr. Sokol has been principally involved in commercial litigation and advising corporate and public clients on strategic approaches to commercial disputes. His commercial litigation emphasis has been focused on manufacturing issues, specifically, commercial code and warranty litigation, dealer agreements, termination and arbitration. Another portion of Mr. Sokol's practice involves both public and private employment litigation and arbitration. Mr. Sokol has represented public entities in employment litigation since 1980, both in the courts and through the various administrative processes in New Jersey. Mr. Sokol has defended both public and corporate clients against allegations of discrimination, whistle-blowing, workplace harassment and various other allegations. He also has experience in the field of education law in New Jersey, representing boards of education and an educational service commission in tenure proceedings, labor scope proceedings, labor arbitration, negotiations and other hearings before the Commissioner of Education.

Other areas of concentration include representation of contractors, architects and owners, both public and non-public, throughout the construction process, including the drafting of construction agreements, as well as construction litigation and arbitration, addressing issues such as change order disputes, scheduling disputes, delay damages, liquidated damages, latent and patent defects, contractor termination, professional malpractice and construction lien law.

Mr. Sokol has also developed expertise in the areas of real property litigation through his representation of title insurance companies. He advises and represents landlords in lease drafting and negotiation and in causes of action seeking possession and rent. Mr. Sokol has also represented zoning boards of adjustment and applicants for the development of gas stations, banks and other commercial projects. Finally, Mr. Sokol has experience in representing banking institutions in collection actions, including mortgage foreclosures, and has defended lenders against liability claims.

Mr. Sokol was born and raised in Monmouth County, specifically Freehold, its County seat, where his father was an attorney for approximately 30 years. He currently resides in Colts Neck, New Jersey. Mr. Sokol is a long time volunteer for Western Monmouth Habitat for Humanity as an attorney and also volunteers in representing the Colts Neck Reformed Church, where he is a member with his family.

Professional Accomplishments:

Randolph H. Wolf attended the University of Rochester where he graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Computer Science. He completed a political internship with the Hon. Donald P. Anderson, M.P. in the House of Commons of the British Parliament and assisted Mr. Anderson in his practice as a Barrister (an English trial lawyer) representing criminal defendants in such Courts as the “Old Bailey.” Mr. Wolf returned to the United States and attended Rutgers School of Law where he graduated cum laude in 1983. While in law school, he interned with the Office of the Public Defender appearing in the Superior Court of New Jersey representing both adults and juveniles.

Upon graduation, Mr. Wolf was accepted by the Hon. George P. Helfrich, J.S.C., Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, for a one year Judicial Clerkship. Judge Helfrich was assigned to the Civil Division where he presided over Civil Trials including personal injury actions arising out of automobile accidents and slip and fall injuries. In addition, Judge Helfrich heard appeals from the Municipal Courts including those from DWI and Driving While Revoked convictions.

In 1984, after completion of his clerkship, Mr. Wolf entered into private practice as an attorney with the law firm of Cassidy, Despo, Foss and San Filippo in Red Bank, New Jersey. His practice consisted exclusively of trial work in the Superior Court and Municipal Courts. Mr. Wolf rose to national prominence in 1986 as one of the lead trial lawyers in the Matter of Baby M, representing a surrogate mother who fought to retain her child despite having entered into a Surrogate Mother Contract. This Surrogate Contract was later found to be unenforceable by the New Jersey Supreme Court in a landmark decision.

In 1987 Mr. Wolf founded his own firm in Red Bank, New Jersey, primarily concentrating in civil trial work and criminal matters in the Superior Court and criminal and motor vehicle offenses in Municipal Courts. He has handled several hundred personal injury actions, trying many of them to a conclusion in front of a jury, and more than a thousand criminal and motor vehicle cases representing defendants in Superior and Municipal Courts.

Mr. McOmber is a third generation attorney and a lifelong resident of Monmouth County. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts and a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, in Washington, D.C. In 1998, he was admitted to New Jersey and Federal District Court Bars and joined the firm of McOmber & McOmber, which was established by his parents, Richard and Adrienne McOmber, in 1974. He was promoted to partner in 2001. In 2004, Mr. McOmber moved to Red Bank with his wife, Dr. Nathalie Zenian McOmber, a general dentist who also practices in Monmouth County.

Mr. McOmber's primary areas of practice are civil litigation, land use and education law. He represents a number of municipal and regional boards of education and has handled extensive litigation and appeals on their behalf. He has successfully counseled many national corporations regarding complex development applications in New Jersey, including self-storage facilities and financial institutions. He has litigated favorably on behalf of corporations and public institutions regarding matters of public concern and attention. A number of his cases involving significant matters of law have been reported.

Mr. McOmber is a member of the St. Stepanos Armenian Apostolic Church in Elberon, New Jersey. He is an active participant in Armenian philanthropic organizations in the northeast. Amongst these activities, Mr. McOmber serves as master of ceremonies of an annual Armenian genocide remembrance program presented each April in New York City's Times Square. Regular speakers at this event include national senators and congressman. Mr. McOmber also serves as Secretary of the Kaboom Fireworks Committee, a non-profit organization, and helps organize the largest Fourth of July fireworks display in New Jersey.

Mr. McOmber was admitted to the New Jersey and Federal District Court Bars and then served as a Judge Advocate General for three years in Washington, D.C. There he initially served as defense and trial counsel in many courts martial and thereafter as post Judge Advocate of Fort Leslie J. McNair in the southwest section of Washington.

Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, he joined the law firm of Giordano & Halleran. Upon his promotion to partner, the name of the firm was changed to Giordano, Halleran & McOmber. Thereafter, he left that firm to start a new firm with his wife, Adrienne H. McOmber. McOmber & McOmber opened their first office on Front Street in Red Bank, New Jersey and later moved to 90 Monmouth Street in Red Bank. Since 1980, they have practiced on the waterfront of the Navesink River at 54 Shrewsbury Avenue in Red Bank.

The McOmbers first lived in Fair Haven and thereafter in the Locust section of Middletown. They have two children, one of whom practices with the firm. Mr. McOmber served as a trustee and President for many years with Riverside Drive Association, a homeowners’ group representing some 240 families on the north side of the Navesink River in Middletown. He has also been involved in the Armenian community for many years and presently attends St. Stepanos Armenian Apostolic Church in Elberon, New Jersey.
