Attorney Peter J. Cyr graduated from Piscataquis Community High School in 1989. Following High School, he attended Providence College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Social Science in 1993.
In 1994, attorney Cyr spent a year in Austin Texas as a VISTA Volunteer (Volunteers in Service to America)working with kids to help them stay in school.
Attorney Cyr stayed in Texas and worked as a carpenter building houses West of Austin.
In 1997, Peter commenced his first year at the University of Maine School of Law. He graduated Cum Laude and received the alumni association award for excellence in writing and communication skills.
Following his graduation, he was admitted to practice in Maine and Massachusetts.
He currently runs his own practice focusing mainly on criminal, family, and civil litigation.

I practice primarily in bankruptcy, criminal and family law.

Adam graduated from Hobart and William Smith College with a bachelor's degree in English and earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Maine School of Law. While at law school, Adam interned at the U.S. Attorney's Office and also practiced as a Student Attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. Prior to joining Cooper & Bull, Adam worked as a litigation attorney with a concentration in consumer and creditors' rights actions.

Adam is admitted to the Maine State Bar and to the United States District Court, District of Maine. He is a member of the Maine State Bar Association. Adam's practice includes estate planning, bankruptcy, corporate and business organization, and civil litigation.

Prior to pursuing his legal career, Adam worked as a chef in Portland for several years. He enjoys bicycling and playing guitar and can be seen performing regularly with local musicians. He lives in Portland with his wife, who is a school teacher, and his two children.

Expertise in commercial litigation

Tori focuses her practice primarily in family law. She has represented clients in a variety of complex family matters including, but not limited to, divorces, parental rights, adoptions and child support. She is an experienced litigator who will handle your sensitive family matter with care and expertise. She is also rostered by the Maine Courts as a Guardian Ad Litem. Tori is admitted to both the Maine State Bar and the United States District Court, District of Maine. She is a member of the Maine Guardian Ad Litem Institute.

Tori is a 2005 cum laude graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. While in law school, she served as a member of the Moot Court Team and was both a member and co-chair of the Women's Law Association. Additionally, she served as a student attorney for both the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic and the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office.

Tori spends her free time enjoying the variety of outdoor activities that Maine has to offer, from hiking the mountains, to lounging on the beaches, to exploring the farms and orchards. She is an avid supporter of local agriculture and business. Tori currently resides in Westbrook with her husband, son, and twin daughters.

Adam Wilson is a mediator and ombudsman for commercial, business, and organizational disputes in New England and the Northeast. Based in Portland, Maine, he has mediated over 175 disputes involving businesses since 2009.

He spent a decade at leading law firms in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco, where he prepared litigation for mediation, arbitration, and trial (antitrust, intellectual property, environmental, and commercial litigation).

During a federal appellate clerkship, he advised a federal judge in all areas of appellate litigation (including employment / workplace, business torts, contracts, civil rights / constitutional law, and securities appeals).

He focuses his practice on resolving litigation / disputes in four core areas: (1) business / commercial, (2) intellectual property / IP, (3) environmental law / land use, and (4) professional / workplace / employment.

After 22 years of active law practice, in 2000 to offer more comprehensive advice to clients and families, I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(tm)practitioner. My particular area of interest is in working with individuals and families with complex situations and assisting them in optimizing their resources--financial, family, and personal.

Much of my work is in the wealth transfer area, as a member (or leader) of the client's advisory team. Working in a collaborative model brings the best results for the client and is among the most professionally satisfying work I do.
