As a former Assistant State Attorney in Daytona Beach I handled over 5,000 cases. Working as a prosecuting attorney gave me a great deal of experience in DUI, theft, domestic violence, battery, assault, driving while license suspended, juvenile crimes, drug charges, misdemeanors, motions to suppress, motions in limine, traffic tickets and trial advocacy. Elizabeth attended Engelwood Elementary School and Jackson Middle School (it was Jackson Jr. High at the time). Elizabeth graduated from Colonial High School. (It is great to be a grenadier!) Elizabeth earned her Bachelors’ degree from the University of Central Florida followed by her Juris Doctorate Law degree from the Barry Andreas University School of Law, also here in Central Florida. She is a member of the Florida State Bar and the Orange County Bar Association. She has practiced extensively in the 9th Judicial Circuit. She knows this community and its legal system.

Elizabeth is a mom. She has two amazing son’s. She believes one of the greatest and most important roles we will be given in life is parenthood. She practiced as a State Certified Behavior Analyst for years. As a result she understands different diagnosis, symptoms and treatments. I have successfully defended clients charged with a wide-array of criminal offenses, ranging from life felonies to simple misdemeanors in adult and juvenile court. Although my average client is a 1st or 2nd time offender, I have represented countless clients with extensive criminal records and achieve uncommon results.

Stephen Brown graduated with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Prior to law school, he earned dual bachelors degrees at The Florida State University covering three majors: Political Science, Social Science and Environmental Studies.

At the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Stephen participated in the Virgil Hawkins Family Law Clinic where he helped several clients navigate through various family law issues. He also participated in an externship at Florida Institutional Legal Services assisting inmates in the Florida Department of Corrections obtain various services upon their release to help prevent recidivism. Additionally, he assisted research for a federal class action lawsuit against the Florida Department of Corrections alleging inhumane treatment of many inmates.

After law school, Stephen accepted an appointment to become an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida. As an Assistant State Attorney, his focus was to develop his trial skills to gain litigation experience. He tried 75 cases in County, Circuit, and Juvenile Court and resolved more than 2000 cases short of trial in fewer than four years at the State Attorney's Office.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys the great lifestyle that Central Florida has to offer. In his spare time (however slight) you could find him at a local bookstore, themepark, restaurant, or at the dog park with his Italian Greyhound, Rocco.
