Mr. Wells has been a member of the Florida Bar for over 22 years. He has represented both insurers and their insureds over the course of his career and has practiced extensively in the Central Florida/Tampa Bay area for many years. His practice originally concentrated in the areas of insurance, including bad faith defense, and the defense of bodily injury claims and he was retained by insurance companies to represent them and their insureds. Over the years his practice evolved and his practice is now dedicated to exclusively representing consumers and businesses in insurance cases against their own insurance companies.

These cases include, but are not limited to, insurance coverage claims, first party property matters (hurricane, windstorm, sinkhole, water damage, and fire losses), other insurance claims (life, health, disability and other direct actions against insurers), bad faith claims (claims against an insurer for improper claim handling), insurance agent negligence, and bodily injury cases in both the state and federal courts. Mr. Wells is an experienced litigator, having litigated cases statewide, including the trial of numerous insurance coverage, bad faith, and bodily injury matters from as far north as Panama City and Jacksonville to as far south as West Palm, including trials in the Tampa Bay area.

Mr. Wells has worked with several legal firms over the course of his 22 year legal career. These include being a partner in the law firms of Pilka & Wells, P.A., where he worked from 2007 until he formed the Wells Law Group, P.A.; Kim E. Wells, P.A.; Wells, Wiggins & Perusek, P.A.; and The Law Offices of Kim Wells. He was also a Senior Associate at the firms of Butler Pappas and the Merlin Law Group.

He is a member of The Florida Bar and admitted to United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Wells' current professional memberships include the American Bar Association, Florida Justice Association, American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA), Windstorm Insurance Network, Former Chairman--Windstorm Insurance Networkâs Legal Committee, Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the Brandon Bar Association. Steven J. Glaros grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Southeastern Louisiana University where he graduated Cum Laude and received the Roy E. Hyde Award for Top Graduate in Major.

Steven attended law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan where he received his Juris Doctor after only two years in the school's accelerated program. Initially, Steven worked under then Attorney General Charlie Crist for the State of Florida as an Assistant Attorney General in St. Petersburg, Florida. As an Assistant Attorney General he researched, drafted pleadings and litigated thousands of trials. Thereafter, he joined a law firm in Palm Harbor, Florida as their primary family law associate. While there he managed a high number of primarily family law cases; his emphasis being divorce, child custody, domestic violence injunctions, and dependency.

Steven became a solo practitioner where he represented mostly family law matters. Steven's experience includes representation of several divorcing wives of other Family Law attorneys and has prevailed in many highly contested custody battles. Steven has completed the Supreme Court of Florida certification course for family law mediators and will soon be a Supreme Court of Florida Certified Family Law Mediator.

In his spare time, Steven has volunteered for a variety of community interest projects. He volunteers at the annual Lawfest Workshop in St. Petersburg providing free legal advice to attendees. Steven volunteers for the guardian ad litem program assisting children within the legal system. He's hosted benefits for the animals of the Humane Society and post Katrina, he collected and distributed necessary aid to its victims then spent three weeks assisting in the clean-up.

Maria went into private practice where she handles criminal law, personal injury, labor law, and family law cases. She has tried a variety of criminal cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to DUI with serious bodily injury. Maria’s civil experience ranges from contract work, auto accidents, dog bites, slip and falls, premise liability and various business law matters. Maria has represented thousands of injured persons.

She also served as General Counsel and Associate General Counsel to public employee labor unions representing members (mostly law enforcement) for duty related incidents, filing grievances and negotiating contracts. Peter A. Sartes is a shareholder of the Law Offices of Tragos & Sartes. Mr. Sartes is one of Tampa Bay's most resourceful, up-and-coming attorneys. His vast formal education includes a finance degree and an MBA along with his law degree. His extensive education coupled with his years of training in tactic and strategy gained during his tour of duty as a United States Army Cavalry Officer provided the foundation necessary for his development into an effective trial strategist.

Since joining the Law Offices of George E. Tragos in 2001, Mr. Sartes has represented clients in both criminal and personal injury cases. Throughout his legal career Mr. Sartes has represented a broad spectrum of clients including the first international arms dealer to be indicted during Operation Iraqi Freedom, a client involved in the fifth largest drug seizure in US history, and everyday people fighting to protect their rights in local courts.Mr. Sartes attended both the University of Toledo and Stetson College of Law and is admitted to practice in both Florida State and Federal courts. He was an associate at CB Richard Ellis, the worlds leading commercial real-estate brokerage firm, before deciding to fulfill his dream and pursue a career in law.

His legal career began at the Public Defender's Office in his home town of Toledo, Ohio. Mr. Sartes is the former Chairman of the Traffic Court Rules Committee of the Florida Bar, and currently serves as the liaison to the Rules of Judicial Administration Comittee of the Florida Bar, and as the Sixth Judicial Circuit representative on the Florida Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors.

He has served as the Past- President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Clearwater Bar Association, and he has also served as the Chairman of the Clearwater Bar Association Technology Committee. Mr. Sartes holds a BV rating from Martindale-Hubble which is the maximum rating a lawyer can receive who has been admitted to the bar for less than 10 years. He has also been published in The Journal, of the Appellate Section of the Florida Bar, the Florida Bar Journal , The Florida Defender, the journal of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Res Ipsa, the publication of the Clearwater Bar Association.
