Born in Colorado City, Texas, Dale Haralson began his law practice in 1963 after earning his B.B.A. from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, and his J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law. He has also served as President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Parliamentarian of the Western Trial Lawyers Association, and continues to sit on the organizationâs Board of Governors.

Mr. Haralson has additionally served as President of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association (1969-1970); as President of ATLA Auxiliary (1976-1977); on the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice (1987-1990); as Chairman of the Trial Practice Section of the Arizona State Bar Association (1971-1972); on the Arizona Supreme Court Committee for Arizona Uniform Jury Instructions (1973-1975); on the Special Committee of Medical Malpractice Panels (1976-1978); and on the University of Arizona, Law College Association, Board of Directors (1984-1987).

In addition, Mr. Haralson is a member of the Pima County Bar Association, the California Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Practicing Law Institute, the Law-Science Academy, the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the American Bar Association. He is a Fellow of both the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers.

On many occasions throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Haralsonâs professional excellence has been formally recognized by his peers and by several highly regarded publications. He is a recipient of the Trial Lawyer of the Year award from the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, as well as a Special Recognition Award by the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel for epitomizing the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. He has been named in every edition of Best Lawyers in America, widely regarded as the most trustworthy and unbiased reference to preeminent lawyers in the United States. In addition, Mr. Haralson has been acknowledged in Town & Country; Whoâs Who in American Law, 3 rd Edition; Outstanding Young Men of America, 1973; Whoâs Who in the West, 1973; and Whoâs Who in the World. In 1983, Mr. Haralson was honored by Hardin-Simmons University with the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award.

Aside from being one of Arizonaâs most renowned lawyers, Mr. Haralson is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Betty, have two children and five granddaughters. In addition, Mr. Haralson always finds the time to contribute to the community, having been a member of the University of Arizona Arthritis Advisory Board and the Tucson General Hospital Trustees. He currently sits on the Arizona Board of Directors for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In his free time, Mr. Haralson is a private pilot with single and multi-engine instrument rating. He also enjoys tennis, scuba, skiing, and doing ministry work with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
