Jay L. Ciulla was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Since 1997, he has been in private practice in Phoenix helping clients with their legal issues. He has extensive litigation and trial experience and has represented clients in well over one hundred trials. During his legal career he has handled a wide variety of clients in personal injury, wrongful death, commercial litigation and criminal defense cases. Marc McCain has lived in the Phoenix area since 1978. He attended Arizona State University where he studied business finance and graduated with highest honors in 1991. After graduating from ASU he worked as a financial analyst with a local litigation consulting firm until he decided to follow his true passion to study law at Arizona State University College of Law. Marc graduated from law school with honors in 1995 and has been practicing in the Phoenix area since that time. In 1999, Marc co-founded McCain & Bursh PLC, Attorneys at Law with his fellow ASU graduate, Darius Bursh.

Jason is dedicated to providing his clients with the highest level of legal representation. He focuses his practice on litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Prior to joining the Personal Injury Law Office of Barry E. Lewin, P.C. Jason worked as an extern for the City Attorney's Office in Tempe, as a judicial extern for the Hon. Helene Abrams, and as a law clerk for a small mortgage fraud prosecution firm. It was during his clinical experiences with the ASU Mediation and Civil Justice Clinics that he developed an interest for representing clients in litigation matters.

Jason's focus and dedication to school earned him top honors at graduation. Jason ranked towards the top of his class, graduating cum laude from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. Along the way he was also named a Pedrick Scholar in his second and third years. This same focus and dedication can be seen in the way he practices law and represents his clients.

Paul Ticen is an associate at Schneider & Onofry and a 2006 graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He defends corporations and individuals in personal injury and wrongful death claims in the areas of general and dram shop liability. His experience in general liability has involved premises liability, including cases with suspected fraudulent activity. His experience in dram shop has involved defending bars and night clubs from allegations of serving alcoholic beverages to intoxicated persons or minors resulting in automobile accidents and violent acts such as gun shootings and assaults.

Paul has represented insurance companies in large loss property subrogation cases, involving fire and water losses arising from product defect, installation error and other causes. He handled cases in Arizona, California and Washington and was actively involved in the origin and cause investigation undertaken shortly after the loss occurred. He has experience with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 921 (Guide for Fire and Explosion Investigations) and 25 (Standard for the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems). His experience in products liability includes defending claims involving food products and appliances.

Paul conducts pre-lawsuit investigations to gather information and preserve evidence, enabling clients to assess potential exposure to a civil lawsuit.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Paul worked as a claims professional for more than six years with a local insurance company and with a claims management company where he was quickly promoted from personal automobile claims to handling litigated claims. As a Litigation Specialist, he provided representation at numerous mediations and settlement conferences throughout California . He also was selected by the company's Special Investigations Unit to handle litigated files involving suspected fraudulent claims.

Paul handled commercial claims, including commercial automobile, trucking, general liability and liquor liability claims. He handled high exposure claims and has a lot of experience negotiating settlements. His representation was in both pre-lawsuit and post-lawsuit mediations throughout the country.

Paul played intercollegiate baseball at Washington State University for two years. He is an avid college football and professional baseball fan. He is a certified CrossFit trainer, and is a member of Competitive Fitness, a CrossFit affiliate in Chandler. He competed in the Affiliate Cup at the 2009 CrossFit games in Aromas, CA where his team finished 10th out of 97 in one of the workouts. Paul is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators and the Arizona Insurance Claims Association.
