KEVIN D. SLATTERY obtained his law degree in 2003 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was an active member of both Florida Law Review and the international legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi. In 1997, he completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and French. While at the University of Notre Dame, he was an active member of both the Notre Dame Council on International Business Development and the national political science honor society Pi Sigma Alpha. He graduated with honors, cum laude, from both the University of Florida Levin College of Law and the University of Notre Dame.
In 2004, he was admitted to both the Florida Bar and the Connecticut Bar. In 2005, he was admitted to both the D.C. Bar and the Bar of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. In 2006, he was admitted to the Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Since completing his undergraduate studies, he has worked for several law firms, including three immigration firms, and as a judicial law clerk with the Connecticut Appellate Court. Inspired by his strong work ethic, by his dedication to providing clients with the thorough representation that they deserve, and by his desire to help others achieve the "American Dream," Mr. Slattery decided to open Kevin D. Slattery, P.A. in July of 2006. The firm is located in Tampa, FL and offers assistance in both family-based and employment-based immigration matters. Mr. Slattery's mission is to provide comprehensive, professional immigration legal services at an affordable rate to corporations, small businesses, universities, non-profit organizations, religious organizations, and individuals.
He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association, and is a former student of the NAFTA Leaders Internship Program at the Washington Center for Internships & Academic Seminars in Washington , D.C.
