Timothy P. Martin, a resident of DuPage County, is a Partner with the LAW OFFICES OF MARTIN & KENT, LLC. Mr. Martin received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois. In 2009, Tim Martin was elected President of the DuPage County Criminal Defense Bar Association. He was re-elected President by his peers for the calendar year 2010. Additionally, he also serves as a Director of the entire Bar Association of DuPage County.

Mr. Martin has 17 years of legal experience. He was initially hired by Attorney General and former DuPage State's Attorney Jim Ryan as a Prosecutor. Crawford v. Washington: An article published in the DuPage County Bar Associaton Brief analyzing the United States Supreme Court's decision to mandate the Confrontation Clause of the Constitution.

Mr. Martin is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys Association. He has served on the campaign committee staff in both campaigns for Attorney General Jim Ryan in 1994 and 1998. Mr. Martin has also served in local and statewide politics. Mr. Martin was recently published in the DuPage county Bar Association Journal in June, 2004 authoring an article that advocating the halt of Excited Utterance Statements of trial evidence following the U.S. Supreme Court case of Crawford v. Washington, 448, 100 S. CT. 2531 (2004). More recently, the Governor has appointed Mr. Martin to the position of Commissioner on the Illinois Racing Board where he regularly adjudicates appeals brought to the board by various litigants.

Donald J. Ramsell was born on November 28, 1958. He is married to his wife Veronica, and has two daughters, Jennifer and Anne. He is a resident of St. Charles, Illinois. His interests include golf, Corvettes, the Cubs, travel, and winning cases.

Donald J. Ramsell is the only Illinois DUI defense attorney to appear and argue on an Illinois DUI case before the United States Supreme Court in its entire 213 years of existence.

In 2008, Donald Ramsell began hearings ordered by the Illinois Supreme Court regarding the validity and reliability of the police field sobriety test known as 'horizontal gaze nystagmus'. This issue is being carefully followed by prosecutors, judges, and DUI Defense Attorneys across the country.

In 2007, Ramsell was nominated and recognized as a Sustaining Member of the National College for DUI Defense.

In 2006, Ramsell successfully fought and obtained orders compelling the ISP Breath Testing Section to begin downloading and turning over the internal memory of the breath testing machines, which has revealed numerous errors in breath testing equipment being used across Illinois.

In 2005, Chicago Magazine named Donald Ramsell an "Illinois Super Lawyer". He has been so identified again in 2006 2007 and 2009.

Also in 2005, Donald Ramsell became the first Illinois attorney ever to become Board Certified in the area of DUI Defense under the American Bar Association's standards, through the National College for DUI Defense.

In 2004, the Chicago Sun Times identified Mr. Ramsell as one of the top 5 DUI Defense Attorneys in the State of Illinois.

In 1999, after a two year investigation, Ramsell discovered that the Department of Public Health had failed to perform critical testing on breath testing equipment, causing test results to be suppressed across the state. Later that same year, the IDPH was forced to turn over control of the entire program to the State Police.

In 1998, Ramsell successfully proved that the Intoxilyzer 5000 (Series 6400 and 6600) breath testing instrument software had been rigged to produce false negative air blank results, causing all breath tests using that model to become inadmissible in the State of Illinois.

In 1988, Ramsell discovered that the statewide breath testing program was falsifying testing documents, again causing thousands of tests to become suspect.

In 1986, Donald J. Ramsell discovered that the statewide breath testing program was using questionable procedures in certifying breathalyzers, causing thousands of tests to become disputed, and forcing immediate changes in the program.

John Lynch became interested in debt relief and bankruptcy before he went to Law School. John was employed at Eastern Airlines in Miami, Florida, which at that time was the second largest airline in the US. Eastern Airlines filed for bankruptcy in 1990 and by 1991 it had closed its doors. John knew so many people that could not find work, had cars repossessed and faced mounting debt. Then, in 1992 Hurricane Andrew hit South Florida and Pan Am airlines also closed its doors. By that time John was a Paralegal and owner of a Title Company. He worked as a bankruptcy Paralegal throughout law school. Right after his graduation from Nova Southeastern Law School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida he made the decision to relocate to Illinois.

John began working at a Real Estate law firm in the Western Suburbs just as he was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1999. His interest in debt relief continued in Illinois and he began representation in bankruptcy cases along with foreclosure defense and real estate closings. After five years at the firm, John started his own practice specializing in bankruptcy.

As the bankruptcy laws began to change, John found it both challenging and interesting. Through his participation in the National Bankruptcy Institute and the American Bankruptcy Institute he studied the new laws and the resulting effects on his clients. As other lawyers were getting out of bankruptcy practice, John was doing the opposite and becoming familiar with the new laws and the affect they would have on clients. John is an active member of both the Illinois Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association. He strives to bring the best available information to his practice.

In the course of that representation he has been involved in mechanic's lien and construction litigation involving McCormick Place, 2 Prudential Towers, the Hotel Sofitel, 900 N. Michigan Avenue, Millennium Park and numerous public and university construction projects. He represents the Chicagoland Roofers Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee of the Roofers Union and Illinois Roofing Contractors, and a major national roofing materials company.

I am a native Chicagoan, and moved to DuPage County in 1972.

I attended DePaul Law School full-time in the evening, while working for one of the major trust companies in the Chicago Loop. I therefore received extensive training and experience in Estate Planning, Probate and Tax matters, and have practiced in those areas for over 30 years.

My first employment after law school was with a Chicago law firm that specialized in Real Estate and Real Estate Development matters. As a private practitioner in DuPage County, I continued practicing in these fields, and added representation of clients in divorce and other domestic and family related matters. I have now represented hundreds of clients relative to dissolution of their marriages. Several judges have also appointed me as Guardian ad-litem or attorney for children in troubled situations or in complex divorce cases.

I feel that my expertise in each of these areas compliment the other. For example, complex divorces often involve real estate or business holdings, with the accompanying valuation and ownership issues. Sometimes, a trust for the benefit of children is appropriate. In doing estate planning, there is often the need to plan appropriately for the second marriage situation. Real estate clients also often need to appropriately plan their estates, and to take title to their home in a manner that is consistent with their ultimate estate desires.

I was admitted to practice in the courts of Illinois in 1971 and the U.S. Federal Court in 1971, and admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court in 1992. I am a member of both the Illinois and DuPage County Bar Associations.

I have been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Glen Ellyn for some years, and am presently the President of the club. As such, I recently accepted, on behalf of our club, the Family Shelter Services Civic Partner of the year award. We work closely with Family Shelter Services and other organizations to provide benefits to children in need.

My primary hobby is the study of history, particularly of the American Civil War period. I am the past president of two Civil War Round Tables (Chicago and Salt Creek, which meets in Glen Ellyn, Illinois), and a member of three Round Tables (Chicago, Salt Creek and Milwaukee). Thereafter he used his skills to help individuals to protect their rights, stop abuses of large corporations and insurance companies. During his career he also made time to work at Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic helping those who could not afford attorneys. He also was a prosecutor in Chicago. Gary has been brought into cases by other law firms on many occasions for his trial experience for the sole purpose of being the trial lawyer.

As an undergraduate from Loyola University in Chicago, Gary was admitted to the Blue Key National Honors Society, the Jesuit Honor Society, the Political Science and History Honor Society and was also present in the Pre-Law Society. After graduating with honors from Loyola University he was admitted into Loyola Law School and Graduate School to study both political science and law. He was presented with his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola in 1993.
