Mr. Bursh attended Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California where he studied government and economics and graduated in 1990 with his B.A. After graduating from Claremont, Mr. Bursh attended Arizona State University College of Law where he recieved his J.D. in 1995. Mr. Bursh has been practicing law in the Phoenix area since that time.

Mr. Bursh co-founded McCain & Bursh, PLC, Attorneys at Law with partner Marc McCain in 1999. Mr. Bursh currently acts as the firm's President. Mr. Bursh's practice areas include personal injury, commercial litigation, and corporate law. Mr. Bursh is a seasoned litigator and represents Plaintiffs in a variety of cases involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, negligence, premises liability, and public entity liability. He has successfully litigated million-dollar cases on behalf of his clients. Mr. Bursh is also experienced in the area of insurance defense and formerly served as corporate counsel for State Farm Insurance Company.

Mr. Bursh also represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants in commercial litigation matters arising from breach of contract and other business related disputes. In addition, he acts a chief counsel for a number of corporations and other business entities.

I have represented a diverse set of clients ranging from individual inventors to start-up companies to multinational oil and chemical companies and multinational pharmaceutical and medical device companies. I served many of these clients in an in-house capacity. So, I have experience with how large companies work from the inside.

Mr. Walcott is a licensed, practicing attorney in good standing with all Courts of Arizona and the Federal District Court. Following a tour in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Walcott obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arizona with a focus on business administration and finance. He continued his education at the University of Arizona and went on to achieve his Juris Doctorate degree in 1997. Mr. Walcott is married with three children.

Tom is an experienced civil litigator with a diverse practice. From 2001 through 2007, he was a partner with a large insurance defense litigation firm located on the Phoenix corridor and specialized in construction defect litigation. Mr. Walcott’s representation of his clients included both plaintiff and defense sides of the bar. The majority of his clients were developers, general contractors, homebuilders, subcontractors and design professionals.

In 2004, Tom and his senior partner, as lead counsel, co-chaired the only two class action, construction defect lawsuits ever to go to trial and verdict in Arizona. He has handled cases on behalf of his clients in all courts, from municipal court through and including the Courts of Appeal and Federal District Court. Tom left his prior firm to pursue his own practice with a more diversified clientele and to provide his clients with better and more personalized service.

Paul Ticen joined White Berberian as Of Counsel in 2010, where he represents clients ranging from corporations, to small businesses and individuals. He offers legal services in the areas of bankruptcy (Chapter 7), bankruptcy litigation (adversarial proceedings), civil litigation (commercial, real estate and injury) and disciplinary hearings before licensing boards. Paul also counsels and assists businesses in complying with government regulations and licensure requirements.

Paul was born in Seattle and raised in nearby Bellevue, Washington. Despite being a lifelong Washington Husky football fan, Paul attended Washington State University in Pullman to play baseball. He was also a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, where he served on the board as Risk Manager. Following graduation, Paul headed to the sunny climes of San Diego to begin work in the insurance industry. He was quickly promoted to litigation specialist where he honed his negotiation skills traveling throughout California attending mediations and settlement conferences. Paul relocated to Scottsdale, where he worked for Scottsdale Insurance Company handling commercial automobile and trucking claims.

Paul temporarily left Arizona to attend law school at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. At McGeorge, Paul graduated with distinction and was awarded membership in the Traynor Society. Paul returned to Scottsdale Insurance Company after the bar exam where he handled high exposure claims in the areas of liquor, products and general liability. In January 2007, Paul began practicing with a reputable civil litigation firm in Phoenix.

Paul's litigation experience includes taking and defending depositions, negotiating settlements, drafting and arguing motions before State and Federal courts. Paul has successfully represented clients in arbitration hearings, receiving several defense awards and favorable awards in others. He second chaired a three-day commercial arbitration hearing that resulted in significant award in favor of the firm's client. Paul has also represented debtors and creditors in bankruptcy court, including adversarial proceedings started by creditors and trustees. Paul has also assisted clients with the short sale process and has defended clients against lender deficiency actions. Last, Paul has represented clients before the Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners and submitted position statements on behalf of clients to other governmental entities.

Paul is an avid college football and professional baseball fan. He is a certified CrossFit trainer and member of CrossFit Forever Strong, a CrossFit affiliate in Chandler. Paul enjoys CrossFit's intensity, functional exercises and camaraderie.
