Ms. Appiah worked as an Appellate Senior Program Attorney for the Statewide Guardian ad Litem Program from 2007 to 2009. She represented the Guardian ad Litem Program in District Courts of Appeal throughout the state of Florida.

Ms. Appiah has participated in several pro bono services throughout central Florida for those who are indigent and low income. She has participated in a number of family law clinics at Florida Legal Rural Services in Polk County. She has participated in a number of "Community Day" law clinics, as well as a "Citizenship Day" immigration law clinic in Pinellas County. Adam gained valuable investigative experience while working for the Department of Labor in Washington, DC. Among other responsibilities, he investigated and researched numerous categories of illegal transactions involving employer-funded health and welfare benefits plans. Adam was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where he attended Miami Killian Senior High. Adam founded and served as President of the Temple Israel Federation of Temple Youth.

Adam graduated from the University of Florida, where he was a leader in the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, Student Government Cabinet for Student Advocacy, Jewish Student Union, and Chabad-Lubavitch Student Center.

Adam attended law school and graduate school at American University in Washington, D.C., where he received a Juris Doctor and Master of Arts in International Affairs.

Service

Adam's commitment to giving back to the community began at an early age. As a youth, Adam volunteered at a local feed the homeless program. He also served as a leader in Camp Jenny, a program designed to give underprivileged youth an opportunity to spend a week in Georgia, where participants engaged in summer camp activities including kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and arts and crafts. At the University of Florida, Adam was a fundraiser for Stop! Children's Cancer. In Washington, Adam promoted the 9/11 Unity Walk, a gathering to commemorate the tragedies of 2001 and build trust and encourage dialogue between members of different faith communities.

Since Adam returned to Florida, he has taken pride in serving the Tampa Bay community. Adam is a regular volunteer at Bay Area Legal Services, where he assists victims of abuse petition for restraining orders. Adam also helps indigent, unrepresented litigants complete family law forms. Additionally, he is active with the Hillsborough County Bar Association's Community Service Committee, where he has donated his time to Faith Cafe's feed the homeless program, Mayor Iorio's Hillsborough River and Waterways Clean up, and the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. Adam is currently training to become a Guardian Ad Litem through Voices for Children.

The Hillsborough County Bar Association recently recognized Adam in The LAWYER Magazine for his service to the community.

Steven J. Glaros grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Southeastern Louisiana University where he graduated Cum Laude and received the Roy E. Hyde Award for Top Graduate in Major.

Steven attended law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan where he received his Juris Doctor after only two years in the school's accelerated program. Initially, Steven worked under then Attorney General Charlie Crist for the State of Florida as an Assistant Attorney General in St. Petersburg, Florida. While there he managed a high number of primarily family law cases; his emphasis being divorce, child custody, domestic violence injunctions, and dependency.

Steven became a solo practitioner where he represented mostly family law matters. Steven's experience includes representation of several divorcing wives of other Family Law attorneys and has prevailed in many highly contested custody battles. Steven has completed the Supreme Court of Florida certification course for family law mediators and will soon be a Supreme Court of Florida Certified Family Law Mediator.

In his spare time, Steven has volunteered for a variety of community interest projects. He volunteers at the annual Lawfest Workshop in St. Petersburg providing free legal advice to attendees. Steven volunteers for the guardian ad litem program assisting children within the legal system. He's hosted benefits for the animals of the Humane Society and post Katrina, he collected and distributed necessary aid to its victims then spent three weeks assisting in the clean-up.

Maria went into private practice where she handles criminal law, personal injury, labor law, and family law cases. She has tried a variety of criminal cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to DUI with serious bodily injury. Maria’s civil experience ranges from contract work, auto accidents, dog bites, slip and falls, premise liability and various business law matters. Maria has represented thousands of injured persons.

She also served as General Counsel and Associate General Counsel to public employee labor unions representing members (mostly law enforcement) for duty related incidents, filing grievances and negotiating contracts. Attorney Darnelle P. Toth was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and believes that it is vitally important to serve the Central Florida local community in which she has lived her entire life. Attorney Toth attended law school a little later in life and as a result has diverse career background that includes experiences in the service industry and entrepreneurship. Attorney Toth developed her entrepreneurial and business skills at a very young age by owning and operating a Hawaiian Shaved Ice business in her early twenties. She then went to work in the airline industry which exposed her to many different cultures and classes of people while working for British Airways. It also taught her how to work under pressure in a very structured and regimented atmosphere.

Attorney Toth completed her undergraduate studies at Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida and earned a Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M College of Law in 2005. Florida A&M University is a community service oriented institution which helped to further instill in her the importance of giving back to the community. Attorney Toth was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005 and serves her community by providing criminal defense and family law legal services to the greater Orlando area. She is an active member of both the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL) and the Seminole County Young Lawyers Division since 2007.
Prior to starting her own law practice in February of 2008, Attorney Toth worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Seminole county. Similar to the airlines, it was a very fast-paced, high-pressure type of work environment. It is Attorney Toth's diverse career background that makes her a well-rounded person and attorney who is better able to relate to a broad spectrum of potential clients.
