A native of Connecticut, Adrian Mark Baron is a partner in the law office of Podorowsky, Thompson & Baron. Immigration reform, Polish-American relations, and other topical issues have been published in such wide forums as the New York Post, the Hartford Courant, the Advocate, Chicago's Polonia News Magazine and Congress.Org. Adrian also serves as editor of the Nutmeg Lawyer Blawg.

Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Baron worked served as an Assistant to the Director of the nationally ranked Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic under co-directors Karl S. Coplan and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

His civic efforts have included the World Trade Center Relief effort, the National Waterkeeper Alliance, Riverkeeper, and Connecticut Village for Families and Children.

Education
Adrian Baron received his Juris Doctorate from the Pace University School of Law (2004) where he served on the Honor Board and as Founding President of the Barrister's Guild. Attorney Baron holds a Certificate in International Business Law & Trade through a joint program between the Uniwersytet Jagiellonski in Krakow, Poland and the Columbus Schoolof Law in Washington D.C. (2003). Mr. Baron's Bachelor of Arts degree is from Manhatttanville College in English & Political Science (1996).

John Serrano, Esquire, is the senior partner of Serrano & Serrano, LLC. A graduate of Yale University and the University of Connecticut School of Law, Attorney Serrano argues cases before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts and tries civil and criminal cases in Connecticut Superior Court, U.S. District Court and Bankruptcy Court.

Attorney Serrano established the law firm of Serrano & Serrano, LLC in 1994 with Gabriel R. Serrano, Esquire, a 1991 graduate of Hofstra Law School. The firm represents clients throughout Connecticut from a main office in West Hartford and a satellite office in the Waterbury suburb of Naugatuck.

Born in Portugal, Attorney Serrano immigrated to the United States by ocean liner in 1960. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish.

Attorney Buck-Taylor received her juris doctorate from the Fordham University School of Law where she graduated in 1991. Attorney Buck-Taylor also has dual majors in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Albany from which she graduated with honors. Attorney Buck-Taylor also has many years of experience and training as a mediator, collaborator and an arbitrator and is committed to resolving disputes outside of the court system.

Attorney Buck-Taylor is a member of the CT Bar Association - ADR & Family Law Sections, American Bar Association - ADR & Family Law Sections, the Litchfield County Collaborative Divorce Group, the International Association of Collaborative Professionals as well as the Association for Conflict Resolution - International & New England Chapters. Most recently Attorney Buck-Taylor has been appointed to the CBA Standing Committee - Dispute Resolution in the Courts (2009-2010).

Attorney Buck-Taylor is also active in her community and serves on the Ethics Commission of the Town of New Milford and the New Milford Housing Partnership. Attorney Buck-Taylor is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce.

Having many years of experience as a court appointed attorney for minor children and guardian ad litem and as a Family Masters, Attorney Buck-Taylor understands family and divorce issues, including custody issues, divorce, mediation, and collaborative work from many different perspectives.
