David S. Rich is the founding member of the Law Offices of David S. Rich, LLC. Mr. Rich litigates civil, commercial, employment, and securities matters in federal and state courts in New York and New Jersey, and arbitrates such matters before FINRA and other arbitral bodies. Mr. Rich also litigates appeals.

Mr. Rich has represented clients in, among other civil and commercial matters, breach of contract actions, business torts cases, bankruptcy and adversary proceedings, civil racketeering actions, oppressed minority shareholder disputes, product liability litigation, franchisor-franchisee litigation, qui tam actions, divorce actions and post-divorce judgment proceedings.

Mr. Rich has represented clients in, among other among other labor, employment, and employee benefits matters, breach of employment contract actions, employment discrimination cases, retaliatory discharge actions, sexual harassment cases, actions for breach of non-competition or non-solicitation agreements, ERISA actions to recover pension or health benefits, and employee benefit funds' actions to recover withdrawal liability payments and delinquent ERISA contributions.

Mr. Rich has represented clients in, among other securities matters, securities fraud cases, breach of fiduciary duty actions, actions for breach of investment management contracts, and arbitration proceedings to recover unpaid bonuses.

Before founding Law Offices of David S. Rich, LLC, Mr. Rich was a partner of a boutique litigation firm in New York City. Mr. Rich has also served as an associate of two prominent, mid-sized law firms in New York City and New Jersey, respectively. Mr. Rich has litigated many noteworthy cases, such as JLM Chems., Inc. v. Summit Resource Group, Inc., No. 08-CV-10296, 2009 WL 1108662 (S.D.N.Y. Apr. 24, 2009); Barron Partners, LP v. Lab123, Inc., No. 07-CV-11135, 2009 WL 129043 (S.D.N.Y. Jan. 20, 2009); Barron Partners, LP v. Lab123, Inc., No. 07-CV-11135, 2008 WL 2902187 (S.D.N.Y. July 25, 2008); Pastore v. Witco Corporation Severance Plan, 196 Fed.Appx. 18, 2006 WL 2335161 (2d Cir. 2006); and Donohue v. Teamsters Local 282 Welfare, Pension, Annuity, Job Training & Vacation & Sick Leave Trust Funds, 12 F. Supp.2d 273 (E.D.N.Y. 1998).

Mr. Rich earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the Columbia University School of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in English from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. Mr. Rich is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia, and in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association.

Karen F. Edler has over ten years of experience in the field of special education law, advocating for parents in connection with obtaining a free, appropriate public education for their children under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). She also represents children at school board disciplinary hearings. Additionally, Ms. Edler concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and corporate transactions, commercial leasing, and commercial real estate. She also represents children at school board disciplinary hearings. Ms. Edler is also a member of the New Jersey Special Education Practitioners.

Ms. Edler is a cum laude graduate of Dickinson College, where she earned a BA degree in Political Science, with a minor in Latin. She earned her law degree, cum laude, from New York Law School, where she was the Managing Editor of New York Law School Journal of International and Comparative Law. After law school, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert E. Hamer, J.S.C., Law Division, Bergen County. During the course of her career, Ms. Edler has litigated in numerous courts and represented various public entities including municipalities, planning boards, and boards of adjustment. Additionally, she served as the Public Defender in a local municipality.

Ms. Edler is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court of the Southern District of New York, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. McOmber was admitted to the New Jersey and Federal District Court Bars and then served as a Judge Advocate General for three years in Washington, D.C. There he initially served as defense and trial counsel in many courts martial and thereafter as post Judge Advocate of Fort Leslie J. McNair in the southwest section of Washington.

Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, he joined the law firm of Giordano & Halleran. Upon his promotion to partner, the name of the firm was changed to Giordano, Halleran & McOmber. Thereafter, he left that firm to start a new firm with his wife, Adrienne H. McOmber. McOmber & McOmber opened their first office on Front Street in Red Bank, New Jersey and later moved to 90 Monmouth Street in Red Bank. Since 1980, they have practiced on the waterfront of the Navesink River at 54 Shrewsbury Avenue in Red Bank.

The McOmbers first lived in Fair Haven and thereafter in the Locust section of Middletown. They have two children, one of whom practices with the firm. Mr. McOmber served as a trustee and President for many years with Riverside Drive Association, a homeowners’ group representing some 240 families on the north side of the Navesink River in Middletown. He has also been involved in the Armenian community for many years and presently attends St. Stepanos Armenian Apostolic Church in Elberon, New Jersey.

David H. Nachman was born in New York and is a lifetime resident of New Jersey. Following his admission to practice, Mr. Nachman was employed for three years with one of New Jersey's largest law firms in Newark, New Jersey, in Corporate and Business Law Department. Here, Mr. Nachman engaged in the business immigration law practice and he assisted with general corporate compliance and commercial litigation.

Mr. Nachman, along with other firm attorneys, worked on such cases as Berger vs. Berger (a landmark decision regarding the interpretation of what constitutes a minority shareholder pursuant to the New Jersey Business Corporation Act) and Wolley vs. Hoffman-LaRoche (a landmark decision in the employment law arena concerning the legal and contractual implications arising from an employment handbook). Mr. Nachman also successfully completed nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications for national and international businesses of all sizes in many industries then joined another premier New Jersey law firm located Middletown.

Here Mr. Nachman served as an attorney in the Corporate/Business Law Department, where he was engaged in commercial and environmental defense litigation as well as securities regulation and contracts interpretation and drafting. Mr. Nachman continued to practice business immigration law for small and mid-sized businesses both in and outside of New Jersey.

Mr. Nachman is a member of the Bar of Bergen County, the State of New Jersey, the United States Court of International Trade, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Nachman served as the State Department Liaison for the New Jersey Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association (“AILA”), and serves as an active member and a mentor to national AILA members on various topics. Mr. Nachman has appeared twice on New Jersey News Channel 12 as a recognized authority in the Business and Corporate Immigration Law arena.

Mr. Nachman is widely published and he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Paralegal Studies at Farleigh Dickinson University and at Bergen Community College where he teaches Immigration and Nationality Law. Mr. Nachman, on an annual basis, moderates the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education (“NJICLE”) program entitled "The ABC's of Immigration Law." In addition to the foregoing, he has presented Continuing Legal Education Programs for organizations such as CELESQ, Sterling Educational Services and The U.S. Department of Justice (“DOJ”), The Employers’ Association of New Jersey (“EANJ”) and Society of Human Resource Management (“SHRM”).

As an undergraduate at Georgetown University, Mr. Nachman served as an Assistant Legislative Correspondent in the Office of Senator Bill Bradley on Capitol Hill. He also served in the office of the United States Attorney in Cleveland. In June, 1993, Mr. Nachman founded Nachman & Associates, P.C. In 1999, Mr. Nachman temporarily served as the Chair of the Business Immigration Law Department for Premier New Jersey Labor & Employment Law Firm and then Mr. Nachman returned to private practice at Nachman & Associates, P.C.

Mr. Warren is a graduate of Rutgers College and Rutgers School of Law - Camden. Prior to joining the firm of McOmber & McOmber, P.C. Mr. Warren was associated with two other firms, as well as with Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation at its branch office located in Freehold, New Jersey. Mr. Warren has been with McOmber & McOmber, P.C. from 1980 until the present time.

Mr. Warren and his wife are residents of East Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey. They are members of Saint Bartholomew Church also located in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He is a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council Number 11873.

Mr. Warren is an Eagle Scout. He continued to actively participate in the Boy Scouts of America when his son became a Tiger Scout. Mr. Warren became an assistant Cubmaster/Cubmaster for Pack 109 and assistant Scoutmaster/Scoutmaster for Troop 109. Mr. Warren acted as an assistant Scoutmaster/Scoutmaster at two National Jamborees, and served as an assistant Scoutmaster at an International Jamboree as well.
