Moser & Moser, P.A. is a family-owned law firm. I practice law with my husband, John Moser, and together we have practiced law a total of nearly 45 years. Our experience is broad, but has mostly focused on litigation and court practice. We have MANY YEARS of courtroom experience. We handle a variety of issues including, but not limited to, criminal defense, family law, contracts, and estate planning.

It is our goal that when you come to our office you will feel comfortable and relaxed, not intimidated. Our office is centrally located in Brevard County and is conveniently located in Historic Downtown Melbourne. We serve clients who live throughout Brevard County as well as clients from around the country and internationally who have legal matters in Brevard County, Florida, or governmental and legislative matters in Tallahassee, Florida.

In addition to our regular office hours of 8:30 to 5:30 Monday - Friday, we can arrange for evening and weekend appointments to meet when it's convenient for you.

Steve Cody was born in Massachusetts, but has has lived in Florida almost all of his life. He received his Bachelor's degree from Florida State University and then went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida College of Law.

Steve concentrates his practice in the areas of litigation and appellate work. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before all of the Florida courts, as well as the United States Supreme Court, the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.

After graduating law school, Steve served as a legislative aide to Representative William E. Sadowski. Sadowski was a member of the Florida House. While with the Legislature, Steve helped to author the Florida Voting Rights Act and the Florida Limited Liability Company Act, among other pieces of legislation. He worked on the sunset review of various parts of the Florida Statutes, including the Florida Insurance Code and the Regulated Industries (Gaming) Code. He was also extensively involved in the reapportionment of the Florida House, Florida Senate, and United States Congressional districts for Florida.

Since entering private practice he has represented the Florida House of Representatives during the period 2001-2004, the Gore/Lieberman campaign in 2000, and the City of Miami. Past and present representative clients include the Royal Bank of Canada, Refco Group, Paine Webber, Banco de Balboa, Banco de Santander, Banco Exterior de Espana, AIG, former Congresswoman Carrie Meek, Rhode Island Hospital Trust, Cessna Finance Corporation, Sears, Dun & Bradstreet, and AT&T. Steve has also represented numerous persons with disabilities and organizations concerned with the rights of the disabled under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Because of Steve's unswerving efforts to bring fairness to the way in which members of the Miami-Dade County Commissioners were elected, the very Commission that Steve forced to reform, proclaimed May 18, 1993 as "Stephen Cody Day" in Miami-Dade County.

Charles B. Jimerson founded Jimerson & Wilson and continues to lead its preeminent business litigation practice. Born in Sarasota, FL, Charles B. Jimerson, Esq. is a 7th generation Floridian. Mr. Jimerson represents various corporations, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and small and mid-size businesses in business litigation matters ranging from commercial collections, contract disputes and business torts to real estate, construction, bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings.

After leaving home at the age of 15, Mr. Jimerson supported himself with odd jobs to put himself through high school. Upon graduation, Mr. Jimerson enlisted in the U.S. military to serve his country and earn money for college. His tireless work ethic and ability to adapt and overcome challenging situations enabled him to graduate with highest honors and in the top two percent in every academic class he had in his secondary education prior to law school (undergraduate, professional certifications, and technical schools), and in the top one-third of his law school class. A graduate of the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina, Mr. Jimerson earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree Summa Cum Laude with highest honors. While attending Campbell University, Mr. Jimerson contemporaneously served as an active duty Combat Meteorologist in the United States Air Force, participating in various worldwide operational missions and earning Airman of the Year honors. During his tenure, Mr. Jimerson was the youngest operationally certified meteorological forecaster in U.S. Air Force history.

Mr. Jimerson has also received a Professional Certification in Marketing with an emphasis in Sports Marketing from the University of Kentucky. He obtained his Juris Doctorate at the University of Florida, serving as the President, Officer and Executive Director to several student run organizations. Mr. Jimerson also participated in the London Legal Consortium in London, England, where he met his wife Ashley. Mr. Jimerson was a Harry T. Goodmark scholar, and was named Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities during his matriculation at the University of Florida.

Focusing his practice on commercial litigation, bankruptcy law, creditor’s rights and collections and construction law, Mr. Jimerson has experience in all stages of litigation, including alternative dispute resolution, negotiation of settlement and litigation of multifaceted commercial matters up through and including trial. Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Jimerson practiced at prominent Jacksonville based commercial litigation and construction litigation boutiques.

Mr. Jimerson resides in Avondale with his wife Ashley and their two dogs, Hank (Bassett Hound) and Audrey (Weimaranar). Though his free time is very limited, his non-professional interests are sports, traveling, The Office on NBC, obscure oyster bars, The Dave Matthews Band, home improvements and Red Box DVD rentals.

Daniel Woodring was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but has lived in Florida for the past twenty years. In Florida, he has lived and worked in Pensacola, Clearwater, Jacksonville, Gainesville and Tallahassee. His wife Jean, who is also an attorney, was born in Miami, and grew up in Ft. Myers.

Daniel Woodring is a member of the Florida and Georgia Bars, and is admitted to practice before the Florida Federal Southern, Middle and Northern District Courts, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has worked at the trial level on cases in many of Florida's 20 judicial circuits, in addition to cases in state administrative tribunals, and has argued cases at the Florida Supreme Court and Florida District Courts of Appeal, and briefed cases at the U.S. Supreme Court.

He graduated from the University of Florida, College of Law with a Juris Doctorate, Cum Laude, and received his B.A. degree from Clearwater Christian College, Summa Cum Laude.

After law school, Mr. Woodring was in private practice doing general civil and appellate work. He then left for a two year appellate clerkship at the First District Court of Appeal. During his time at the court, he worked on cases including, but not limited to: criminal; family law; administrative law; workers' compensation; civil and constitutional law.

Mr. Woodring next worked as a counsel in the Executive Office of the Governor, Office of the General Counsel. During his time in Governor Bush's Legal Office he had diverse responsibilities, including oversight and strategic litigation management of significant legal matters at numerous Governor's agencies, including the Department of Education; Department of Management Services; Department of Business and Professional Regulation; Department of Health; Agency for Health Care Administration; Department of Children and Families; Department of Community Affairs; Department of Elder affairs; Agency for Workforce Innovation; Department of Transportation, and the Department of State. He was also legally responsible for topics as diverse as emergency operations; advising the Governor on the selection of judges; implementation of civil service reform; reform of workers' compensation; budget and appropriation matters; Indian gaming law; and advice to the Florida Cabinet sitting in its many capacities, such as the Florida Land and Water Adjudicatory Commission.

Daniel Woodring was then asked to be the General Counsel for the Florida Department of Education, which encompassed Pre-K though 12th Grade, community colleges and the Florida University System. He was also the Charter General Counsel for The Board of Governors, when that board was constitutionally created to manage the State University System. During his tenure at the Department of Education, Mr. Woodring advised and litigated on matters including, but not limited to: constitutional challenges to Florida's education programs, including Opportunity Scholarships and the charter school approval and appeal process; doing away with race as a preference in university admissions and state contracting; teacher and professional discipline cases; union, labor and employment matters; state procurement and bid protest proceedings; administrative rule challenges and rule making proceedings; IDEA and Section 504 proceedings; public records, government in the sunshine and ethical matters; contract negotiations and disputes.

Since 2007, Mr. Woodring has been back in private practice as the principal of the Woodring Law Firm, located in Tallahassee, Florida, and practicing statewide and in Georgia. He concentrates his practice on appeals; constitutional cases instate and federal court; education law matters; and state administrative matters, including state procurement, regulation and licensing.
