Previous Employment Summary
I am no stranger to hard work. During my college years, I was a volunteer EMT. During law school I taught CPR for the American Red Cross, and also was a computer repair technician. Now during my short career as an attorney, I have had numerous cases involving Bankruptcy, Family Law and Divorce, Child Custody, and Criminal Defense.
Activities and Awards

I dedicate some time to Pro Bono projects.

After many years as an attorney and mediator, I founded Dovetail Resolutions, LLC. Dovetail Resolutions is based in Connecticut and works to prevent, reduce, and resolve conflicts through mediation, consulting, and strategic planning. The main focus areas of Dovetail Resolutions are business conflicts (including within partnerships and family businesses), estate planning and settlement conflicts, and elder mediation, as well as work for nonprofits.

Alinor Sterling practices in the areas of appellate litigation and complex briefing and analysis of personal and business torts.

Eileen Becker's practice focuses on the representation of individuals and entities in personal injury cases, including claims of wrongful death, traumatic brain injury and various orthopedic injuries. She also has extensive experience in the representation of healthcare providers and facilities in healthcare-related litigation. She has successfully tried numerous jury cases to verdict.

Eileen is also a volunteer advocate with Lawyers for Children America. Through this organization, she is appointed by the court to represent children who are victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect.

She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and the Hartford and New Haven County Bar Associations.

Eileen earned an A.B. from Syracuse University and a J.D. magna cum laude from Rutgers University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of Connecticut (1994), New Jersey (1992) and Pennsylvania (1992). She is also admitted to practice in the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the District of Connecticut, the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Southern District of New York.
