A native of Connecticut, Adrian Mark Baron is a partner in the law office of Podorowsky, Thompson & Baron. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Baron worked served as an Assistant to the Director of the nationally ranked Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic under co-directors Karl S. Coplan and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

His civic efforts have included the World Trade Center Relief effort, the National Waterkeeper Alliance, Riverkeeper, and Connecticut Village for Families and Children.

Education
Adrian Baron received his Juris Doctorate from the Pace University School of Law (2004) where he served on the Honor Board and as Founding President of the Barrister's Guild. Attorney Baron holds a Certificate in International Business Law & Trade through a joint program between the Uniwersytet Jagiellonski in Krakow, Poland and the Columbus Schoolof Law in Washington D.C. (2003). Mr. Baron's Bachelor of Arts degree is from Manhatttanville College in English & Political Science (1996).

Previous Employment Summary
I am no stranger to hard work. During my college years, I was a volunteer EMT. During law school I taught CPR for the American Red Cross, and also was a computer repair technician. Now during my short career as an attorney, I have had numerous cases involving Bankruptcy, Family Law and Divorce, Child Custody, and Criminal Defense.

John Serrano, Esquire, is the senior partner of Serrano & Serrano, LLC. A graduate of Yale University and the University of Connecticut School of Law, Attorney Serrano argues cases before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts and tries civil and criminal cases in Connecticut Superior Court, U.S. District Court and Bankruptcy Court.

Attorney Serrano established the law firm of Serrano & Serrano, LLC in 1994 with Gabriel R. Serrano, Esquire, a 1991 graduate of Hofstra Law School. The firm represents clients throughout Connecticut from a main office in West Hartford and a satellite office in the Waterbury suburb of Naugatuck.

Born in Portugal, Attorney Serrano immigrated to the United States by ocean liner in 1960. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish.

Attorney Michael Boyle has practiced immigration law since 1993. The Martindale-Hubbell attorney rating service* has assigned him its highest rating, AV. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America*, and is a James Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Association. He was a member of the Board of Governors of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Chapter Chair of the Association’s Connecticut chapter from 2003-2005. He has provided training presentations for the American Immigration Lawyers Association and its Connecticut chapter, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Connecticut public defender’s office and other groups.

Attorney Boyle was the Chief Negotiator for Locals 34 and 35, Federation of University Employees, UNITE HERE, at Yale from 1991 to 2005. He is a graduate of Yale (BA, 1979), the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London (MA, 1980), and the University of Connecticut (JD, 1993). He speaks Portuguese and Spanish.

Eileen Becker's practice focuses on the representation of individuals and entities in personal injury cases, including claims of wrongful death, traumatic brain injury and various orthopedic injuries. She also has extensive experience in the representation of healthcare providers and facilities in healthcare-related litigation. She has successfully tried numerous jury cases to verdict.

Eileen is also a volunteer advocate with Lawyers for Children America. Through this organization, she is appointed by the court to represent children who are victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect.

She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and the Hartford and New Haven County Bar Associations.

Eileen earned an A.B. from Syracuse University and a J.D. magna cum laude from Rutgers University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of Connecticut (1994), New Jersey (1992) and Pennsylvania (1992). She is also admitted to practice in the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the District of Connecticut, the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Southern District of New York.

The main focus areas of Dovetail Resolutions are business conflicts (including within partnerships and family businesses), estate planning and settlement conflicts, and elder mediation, as well as work for nonprofits.
