Attorney Ron Murphy is a 1983 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law and the owner and principal trial lawyer of Advocates Law Firm. Competitive sports were the spring board for a career in litigation. I have been a competitive athlete as long as I remember and was the only athlete in the State to earn All State Honors in two sports in 1983: Track and Field and Soccer. I have coached girls soccer for six years, earned a "D" coaching license and earned three State Championships at the youth level, Currently I race for a NASTAR team at Ski Sundown and sponsor local youth teams in New Britian and Berlin and have been a team member/walker and major contributor to the American Breast Cancer Association for the last four years. LAW IS MUCH LIKE SORTS. Success in trial or at the negotiating table takes preparation, desire, commitment and skill. My entire staff of employees exude these attributes. My office recently found a a new home in a beautiful 1890 Victorian in Walnut Hill Park in New Britain. Family: my daughter, Blair, was voted by the Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association to the 2008 All-New England team and is the Pre-Season pick for Hartford Courant Player of the Year for 2009.

A native of Connecticut, Adrian Mark Baron is a partner in the law office of Podorowsky, Thompson & Baron. His civic efforts have included the World Trade Center Relief effort, the National Waterkeeper Alliance, Riverkeeper, and Connecticut Village for Families and Children.

Education
Adrian Baron received his Juris Doctorate from the Pace University School of Law (2004) where he served on the Honor Board and as Founding President of the Barrister's Guild. Attorney Baron holds a Certificate in International Business Law & Trade through a joint program between the Uniwersytet Jagiellonski in Krakow, Poland and the Columbus Schoolof Law in Washington D.C. (2003). Mr. Baron's Bachelor of Arts degree is from Manhatttanville College in English & Political Science (1996).

Eileen Becker's practice focuses on the representation of individuals and entities in personal injury cases, including claims of wrongful death, traumatic brain injury and various orthopedic injuries. She also has extensive experience in the representation of healthcare providers and facilities in healthcare-related litigation. She has successfully tried numerous jury cases to verdict.

Eileen is also a volunteer advocate with Lawyers for Children America. Through this organization, she is appointed by the court to represent children who are victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect.

I handle a wide variety of transactional corporate and securities law matters for institutional and individual investors, investment funds and their managers, as well as for public and private operating companies. My practice focuses on hedge fund, private equity, venture capital fund formation and operational issues, and illiquid investment transactions, with particular emphasis on advising private domestic and offshore capital pools and their stakeholders. I also advise investment advisers, fund managers, and operating companies on state, federal, and international compliance and enforcement considerations. John Serrano, Esquire, is the senior partner of Serrano & Serrano, LLC. A graduate of Yale University and the University of Connecticut School of Law, Attorney Serrano argues cases before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts and tries civil and criminal cases in Connecticut Superior Court, U.S. District Court and Bankruptcy Court.
