Prior to founding Hinch Newman LLP, Richard was a Senior Associate with a marketing, promotions and communications law firm located in New York City. Richard is currently admitted to practice law in California, New York, Nevada, the District of Columbia, and before the United States District Court for the Districts of Northern and Southern California, the Southern District of New York and the District of Nevada. Richard is also a member of the California Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, the Performance Marketing Association, and the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association. He is currently an advisor to the California State Bar Cyberlaw Subcommittee on eCommerce, Data Security, and Privacy.
