In 1997, I joined the firm of Lynberg & Watkins in downtown Los Angeles. There, I worked on complex multimillion dollar environmental insurance litigation cases.

I wanted to work in my community of Ventura County and also serve the public interest and so in 1998, I joined the Ventura County District Attorney's office as a Deputy District Attorney, prosecuting a range of cases in which I gained valuable and substantial courtroom experience, including prosecuting a multitude of jury trials. As a Deputy District Attorney, I was called to prepare witness testimony and other evidence through which I sharpened my communication and advocacy abilities that have continued to serve me well even as I transitioned to civil practice in late 1999. From that time I have practiced in Simi Valley continually.

In late 1999, I joined the Law Offices of William J. Waters in Simi Valley. There, I worked independently on a range of civil cases including business litigation, real property, neighbor disputes, family law, bankruptcy, medical malpractice, and estate planning. I also conducted all of the firm's trials and also all cases that went to the appellate court.

Alan M. Insul is an AV rated attorney limiting practice to corporate, business and real estate. Mr. Insul Graduated UCLA in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, and he received his J.D. degree in 1978 from Southwestern University School of Law. Mr. Insul was admitted in 1978 to both the California and Federal Court (Central District). While in law school Mr. Insul was the first runner-up in the intramural Moot Court Competition and a member of the Moot Court Honors Program (Roger Traynor Competition). In real estate, he has extensive experience ranging from lending and acquisition transactions to real estate litigation. In business and corporate law, Mr. Insul has advised start-ups, emerging enterprises, established companies as well as troubled businesses seeking to avoid bankruptcy. Mr. Insul litigation experience extends to appellate matters including published opinions. Foothill Village Homeowners Assn. V. Bishop (1999) 68 Cal. App. 4th 1364; Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. V Tutungi (1998) 66 Cal. App. 4th 727; Martin v. World Savings & Loan Assn. (2001) 92 Cal. App. 4th 803. These cases are cited in both California and nationally recognized treatises on the law (e.g. Miller and Star, Witkin and Corbin on Contracts). The Foothill Village Homeowners Assn case was selected by the Real Property section of the California State Bar as one of the ten most significant real property cases for 1999. In the late 1980's Mr. Insul became CEO to a California based telecommunications company with multiple offices. He has also acted as CEO to an international data network company in the mid-90's.

Martin B. Snyder of the Allan Law Group has over 30 years of experience as a litigation attorney. Mr. Snyder is a seasoned trial lawyer, who has tried over 200 cases in State & Federal Court. He also has extensive Mediation, Arbitration, and Appellate experience.

Mr. Snyder's considerable experience in representing individuals and corporations in trial, Arbitration and Appellate levels of the State and Federal courts has proved to be an invaluable combination. Mr. Snyder's Appellate work includes preparation of writs of mandate/prohibition, motions for stay, appeals, and oral arguments before Courts of Appeal. Mr. Snyder recently obtained a significant reversal in the California Court of Appeal in a case involving a $65 million dollar judgment against his client. Mr. Snyder is currently working with Alan Dershowitz on an appeal in the New York Court of Appeal on a $100 million dollar judgment.

Mr. Snyder's previous case responsibilities at Jones & Lester included all facets of complex State and Federal Court litigation, including the drafting of pleadings, preparation of oral arguments and motions. He also has an extensive background in discovery practice, trial preparation as well as trial, post-trial proceedings and appeals.

As the sole litigation associate at Goldfarb, Sturman & Averbach Mr. Snyder had complete case management responsibility for the firm. Subsequently as senior litigation partner at Goldfarb, Sturman & Averbach, Mr. Snyder had supervisory oversight of all associates. He also handled all facets of client representation, from initial interview and fee arrangements through trial and post-trial matters, including appeals in State and Federal Courts.

Mr. Snyder has also done extensive legal research and drafting of pleadings, written discovery, and motions, including demurrers, Federal Court "Rule 12" motions, discovery and sanction motions, ex parte applications, provisional remedy and injunctive relief applications, and motions for summary judgment/summary adjudication.
