Thomas A. Gorman has over 25 years experience defending citizens in municipal, state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level. Mr. Gorman is certified by the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization as a Criminal Law Specialist and is recognized in United States District Court as Learned counsel. Mr. Gorman specializes in trials, appeals, Rule 32s and writs of habeas corpus. Since 1985 Mr. Gorman has secured not guilty verdicts or outright dismissals for clients charged with DUI, money laundering, 1st Degree Murder, capital murder, sexual assault, sale of drugs, domestic violence, assault, theft etc. Mr. Gorman has defended clients by using, among other defenses, the defense of entrapment, the battered women syndrome, mental health defenses and self-defense. Mr. Gorman is qualified under the ABA Guidelines and Rule 6.8 of the Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure to represent capital defendants in state court proceedings at trial, on direct appeal in Rule 32 post-conviction proceedings. Justin Vaughn is an Arizona native. He has served as an attorney licensed in all Arizona courts since 1994. He initially worked in Phoenix with a focus in personal injury law and insurance defense. There, he served as President of the Phoenix Trial Lawyers Association. He moved to Northern Arizona in 1997, and went to work for the prestigious firm of Aspey, Watkins and Diesel. Ms. McFarland entered private practice in 1993. From 1993 through 2001, she worked
with firms in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara, California, primarily

across the nation. Ms. McFarland's practice included disputes about employment
contracts, partnership agreements, commercial leases, joint ventures, 10b(5) securities
