I was born and raised in Wyoming. I started Cates, Hanson, Sargeant & Rakestraw, PLC in 1997 and I am currently the managing partner. I practice primarily in the area of Criminal Defense. I travel throughout Arizona representing clients in various criminal matters, including Murder, Manslaughter, Negligent Homicide, Assault, Aggravated Assault, all drug crimes including transportation for sale of large quantities of cocaine and marijuana. I travel to Kingman, Yuma, Prescott, Holbrook, Bisbee, Flagstaff. any court in Ariozna.

I grew up in Winona, Minnesota. I received my undergraduate degrees at Indiana University-Bloomington (B.A. History and B.S. Music). My clients like me because I am results-oriented, and I am able to come up with practical and efficient solutions to difficult situations.

My father died when I was 16, and my mom was in a very difficult financial situation as a result. Both of my parents had been business owners, but once my father passed away, my mom was not able to juggle everything. The result was financial hardship and several years of my mom working two full-time jobs simultaneously. I want to use my personal experiences to help families avoid financial losses and family discord when a loved one dies.

Clark Watkin has been a trial lawyer for over 30 years, representing clients throughout Arizona with the expertise, sound judgment and "street sense" acquired "in the trenches" as a trial attorney. He began his career as a felony prosecutor and has spent the balance of his career handling complex civil cases in the State and Federal Courts. He is dedicated to providing his clients prompt, professional, courteous and fairly-priced services, direct attorney-client communications, and something even more important -- results.

Ms. McCaskill is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in both Arizona and Washington State and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. McCaskill has also represented clients Pro Hac Vice in a number of other jurisdictions.


Ms. McCaskill is an active member of the Arizona State Bar Association, Maricopa County Bar Association, Scottsdale Bar Association, and the Washington State Bar Association.

Mr. Langley has been a coverage attorney and insurance defense litigator since 1973, having attained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Francisco Law School. He is actively licensed in Arizona and California and has tried in excess of seventy jury trial in federal and state courts including several first party bad faith, serious injury, wrongful death, professional liability, and punitive damages cases. His most recent trial in Arizona involved a False Light Invasion of Privacy and Intentional Interference of Business Relationships case. He has diversified expertise in construction defect, property, fraud, arson and coverage matters including examinations under oath and appraisals, as well as in estate planning. He is also a licensed civil engineer in the State of California.

Mr. Langley is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, American Bar Association, Arizona and California Bar Associations, Defense Research Institute, Northern California Association of Defense Counsel, Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, and the Maricopa County and Scottsdale Bar Associations. He has presented at various continuing education courses and seminars including the ABA and the Property Loss Research Bureau. In 2004 he was featured in Law Technology News regarding his successful defense of a brain injury trial in Santa Monica, California.

Robert H. Kleinschmidt earned his B.S. degree in 1979 from the University of Illinois and his J.D. degree in 1982 from the John Marshall Law School. With 25 years of litigation experience, he is an accomplished trial attorney who focuses his practice in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Birth Injury, Surgical Error; and other serious injuries caused by the negligence of others. He has a passion for children and served for several years as the Chairman of the Board of Gompers Rehabilitation Center, a rehabilitation center for seriously disabled children and adults.

He is a published author with The Arizona Trial Lawyers Association on "The Right to Videotape Depositions". He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona; the Maricopa County and Scottsdale Bar Associations; The American Association for Justice (formerly known as The Association of Trial Lawyers of America) where he is a member of the Birth Trauma Litigation Group, Professional Negligence Group, and the Nursing Home Litigation Group; the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association; and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum - Top Trial Lawyers in AmericaTM. Danny Adelman has focused his practice on medical malpractice and other catastrophic personal injury litigation for most of the past 20 years. He graduated first in his class (summa cum laude) at the Arizona State University College of Law, where he also served as Editor-in-Chief of the ASU Law Journal. After being admitted to practice law in 1987, Danny served as a judicial law clerk for Chief Justice Frank X. Gordon. Following his clerkship he became an associate at Lewis and Roca, a large Phoenix law firm, and then served as Associate Counsel to the Majority in the Arizona State Senate.

Since 1992, Danny has exclusively limited his practice to representing consumers and victims in cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, elder abuse, automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, product liability, and other serious personal injury cases.

Danny believes strongly in giving back to the community. Danny recently completed a several year term as the President of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest, and has served on that Board for more than a decade. Danny is a long time member of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Amicus (Friend of the Court) Committee, to give a strong voice to injured persons and their families in the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. Danny is also a member of many local, state, and national legal organizations.

Craig is an experienced attorney who handles court hearings and trials as well as legal counsel for businesses and individuals. His practice focuses on business law, commercial and business litigation, family & divorce law, real estate & construction law, wills, trusts & estate planning, and Internet law.

Prior to founding Boates & Crump in 2002 Craig worked at a small general practice firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During that practice he represented many individual and business clients and also served as a City Attorney handling civil matters and prosecution for a suburb of Minneapolis.

Craig is a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and received a business degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Craig lives in Anthem, Arizona with his wife and three children. Craig is very involved in the Anthem community and enjoys living and working in the Phoenix North Valley.
