Charles is a native of Centerville, Ohio and prior to entering law school earned his B.A. from Ohio University, an M.P.A. from Wright State University, and was employed for four years with the Montgomery County, Ohio Economic Development Department where he worked to assist local companies grow their business. Charles also managed the County's site selection program where he helped attract new business investment to the Dayton Region.

I've lived in the Miami Valley my entire life. I was born in Union City, Indiana. I received my undergraduate degree at Morehead State University in Kentucky and my law degree at the University of Dayton. My favorite recreation is motorcycle touring. I also love to read and study history. Bible study is a favorite of mine. You don't want to get me started or I'll talk your head off. I have worked with special needs children for 26 years within the legal setting, in juvenile and domestic relations court involving custody disputes. I like people and know and understand their problems, as you can tell from the areas in which I practice. You will find me a good listener.
