Cari is a licensed attorney in the States of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut while being licensed in the District of Columbia. Before starting Rincker Law, PLLC, Cari was an associate at Budd-Falen Law Offices, LLC in Cheyenne, Wyoming where her broad practice areas ranged from agriculture, environmental and natural resource issues to federal lands, wind energy development, crop insurance, property law, commercial law, and probate with clients located all over the west.

Cari’s passion for agriculture issues is deeply rooted. She grew up on a seedstock Simmental cattle operation in Shelbyville, Illinois where she spent significant time working on her family’s farm. She showed cattle through 4-H and FFA at both the local and national levels and was involved with the American Junior Simmental Association.

Cari went on to attend Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois where she received her Associate’s in Agriculture Science and had a successful career on their livestock judging team. Cari then transferred to Texas A & M University where received her Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science and was a member of both the Livestock and Meat Animal Evaluation (“Askarben”) judging teams and actively involved with Saddle and Sirloin and Texas Aggie Cattlewomen. At Texas A & M University, Cari was selected to participate in the Congressional Agriculture and Natural Resource Policy Internship Program through the College of Agriculture. It is here that Cari received her first glimpse into agriculture law and policy during her summer working for Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX).

After Texas A & M, Cari came back home to the University of Illinois to complete her Masters of Science in Ruminant Nutrition where her concentration was in beef feedlot nutrition. Cari completed two research projects in the areas of distillers grain and genetic markers for marbling which each led to published works. During this time, Cari was a research and teaching assistant for Dr. Larry Berger, coached the Shelby County 4-H Livestock Judging Team, and completed an internship with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association in Washington, D.C.

Due to her passion for law and policy, Cari decided to complete her Juris Doctor from Pace University, School of Law, in White Plains, New York. At Pace, Cari completed certificates in both Environmental Law and International Law and was a Vice-Chair on the National Environmental Moot Court Competition Board. While in law school, Cari worked at SimmonsCooper, LLC in their international litigation division and completed a consultantcy with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations where she conducted research on national legal frameworks on the conservation of livestock biodiversity and was a contributing author to "The State of the World's Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture."

Furthermore, while at Pace, Cari participated in Yale University’s School of Forestry’s Environmental Diplomacy program where she worked as an advisor for the Permanent Mission of the Republic of the Marshall Islands to the United Nations, sat the floor of the General Assembly and gave policy recommendations to Ambassador Capelle. In addition to these experiences, Cari interned with Homelessness Prevention Unit for the Los Angeles Public Counsel, the largest pro bono clinic in the world.

Cari continues to have her boots planted firmly in agriculture and enjoys judging livestock shows and taking pictures of the livestock industry and rural life. She is the owner of Rincker Cattle Co., a SimAngus operation in Shelbyville Illinois, and is on the leadership board for National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s Young Producers' Council. Cari also enjoys international travel, distance running, playing volleyball, watching both Illini basketball and Aggie football, and sitting in the cheapseats for baseball games. Community service remains a high priority for Cari as she serves the New York metropolitan area through her church and non-profit organizations.

Ken Copple graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1980. Mr. Copple practiced law in Lincoln, Nebraska in the early 1980s. In 1985 he moved to Ft. Collins in order to attend the Masters of Agriculture program at Colorado State University. He obtained the Masters of Agriculture Degree in 1987, with a focus on agricultural business and policy. He opened his law practice in Ft. Collins in 1987. Mr Copple taught the agricutural law course at Colorado State University in the late 1980s and early 1990s.He has continued to participate as a guest lecturer several times each semester, through the 2008 2009 school year

Mr. Copple's practice emphasizes agricultural and bankruptcy law including the following areas:

Bankruptcy- Mr. Copple has represented dairies, ranches and family farms in chapter 11 and chapter 12 cases since 1988. Many of these cases have resulted in a confirmed plan of reorganization and a successful discharge. Mr. Copple sometimes appeals decisions of the Colorado Bankruptcy Court to the U.S. Federal Court. See, for example, In Re Baskerville, 93 B.R. 251 (D.Colo 1988).

Agri-Business Litigation- Mr. Copple has represented agri-business clients in various forms of litigation, such as litigation against chemical applicators and disputes with lenders. See, for example, Miller v. Rowtech at 3 P.3rd 492.

Water Law- Mr.Copple has represented clients in various water disputes. In 2006 he appeared before the Colorado Supreme Court in a water case involving a dispute between surface rights and ground water rights. See Gallegos v. Colorado Ground Water Com'n at 147 P.3rd 20.

Mr. Copple is a memeber of the Colorado Bar Association and the Larimer County Bar. He is also a memeber of the Agriculturre and Rural Law section of the Bar Association.

Mr. Cohen grew up in Denver. He earned his BA in economics at Whitman College 1980, then returned to Colorado and received his law degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1983. From 1983 to 1987 Mr. Cohen served as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Air Force. He also served two years as a Special Asst. U.S. Attorney in Nebraska. In 1986, he won the American Bar Association's Outstanding Young Military Service Lawyer award.

From 1987-1995 Mr. Cohen practiced law in Nebraska, where he represented an agricultural lender in collection and bankruptcy matters throughout the state. He also successfully represented defendants in several high profile criminal cases. In twenty-six years as a trial lawyer Mr. Cohen has conducted more than 100 jury trials. He has served as an on-demand military law expert for MSNBC.

Mr. Cohen and his family returned to the Denver area in 1995. He served as a Prosecuting Attorney for the Denver suburb of Westminster for seven years, and served as Interim Municipal Judge for the City of Boulder for eighteen months. He today serves as Municipal Judge for the Town of Lochbuie, portions of which are in Adams County and portions of which are in Weld County. He also served on the Executive Board of the Colorado Municipal League in Denver. He served as an elected member of his town's Board of Trustees and on his town's Board of Zoning Adjustment. He has tremendous experience in all aspects of local government.

Because of his diverse background, Mr. Cohen has experience in many areas of the law, but his practices emphasizes agricultural and equine law, business litigation, intellectual property and unfair competition, municipal law and special districts, real estate law and litigation, and tax-exempt organizations and trade associations. He currently serves as General Counsel for the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, a 501(c)(6) trade association with more than 8,000 members.

An accomplished writer, Mr. Cohen has authored six articles in the prestigious American Jurisprudence Proof of Facts series, including the primary article on piercing the corporate veil. He is a member of the Board of Editors of The Colorado Lawyer, a monthly magazine distributed to all members of the Colorado Bar Association. One of his interests is the use of "Plain English" rather than legal jargon in legal writing. Mr. Cohen also wrote two mysteries published by Time/Warner. His first mystery, The Fractal Murders, was a Book Sense mystery selection and a finalist for the Colorado Book Award. The sequel, Bluetick Revenge, won widespread praise from well known authors, including Kinky Friedman and Margaret Coel.

Mr. Cohen is a member of the Board of Directors of and a volunteer instructor for DART, Inc., a non-profit that offers training in preventing and responding to workplace violence, and with that background he drafts and reviews workplace violence policies. He holds a black belt in Shudokan karate and is an instructor at the Flatirons Karate Club.
