About Tony Ray Bertolino
Tony R. Bertolino is the Managing Partner with Bertolino LLP who is available to handle a diverse set of legal needs for his clients. His featured areas of representation include; trial and appellate litigation in both state and federal courts, debtor and creditor issues, business formation and contracts, and disputes regarding construction law. He also has experience working with clients on matters concerning entertainment and sports law, for which is he licensed as a Talent Agent and a Sports Agent in the state of Texas, as well as real estate, internet litigation, bankruptcy, legislative and governmental affairs, family law, and eminent domain.
Most of Mr. Bertolino’s work is devoted to issues requiring litigation and, in addition to his admission into the Texas Bar, he is licensed to practice in ten federal courtrooms, including the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Bertolino received his law degree from the South Texas College of Law in Houston, during which time he was both a Member and an Assistant Editor for the South Texas Law Review. He is able to communicate with clients in both English and Spanish, expanding his ability to serve the diverse population of Texas. His pro bono work includes time provided to the Legal Services of South Texas and Texas Rural Legal Aid.
Mr. Bertolino has also been named a Texas Rising Star for 2011 by Texas Super Lawyers. The Rising Stars list is comprised of the top up-and-coming Texas attorneys who are 40 or younger or have been in practice for fewer than 10 years. Rising Stars are selected based on nominations by members of the elite Texas Super Lawyers list. Only 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys were chosen for this honor.
