About Stanley Santire

Stanley P. Santire is managing principal of the Santire Law Firm. As a litigator and counselor, he assists clients in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. With extensive experience in employment matters, business transactions, and construction issues, he is a mediator and an arbitrator. As Associate Editor of the Labor and Employment Law Section Newsletter, he analyzed current court decisions for members of the State Bar of Texas. He is a member of the Houston Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Committee and the County Law Library Committee. His favorite professional honor was the Executive of the Year award when he served as chief legal counsel for Lockheed Aircraft International.

An active national speaker for managers, human resource professionals and lawyers, he has addressed professional conferences and management seminars in forty-nine states of the United States and given talks on three continents. He has lectured at Yale University, University of Alabama, University of Houston, South Texas College of Law, and Rice University.

Using a 5th Circuit Court of Appeals case, Stanley Santire showed how lack of articulation in the permit process can result in an enormous loss of time translating into a loss of money for a developer.
