Attorney, LaShawn A. Williams, Attorney at Law1995-Current
The law firm's subject matter of representation includes corporate formation, organizational development, contractual matters and disputes, legal document draft and review, labor and employment, criminal defense, child support and civil litigation. Ms. Williams was an assistant district attorney in Texas and Tennessee in the mid-90s. She has several years of experience as an in-house attorney with one of the nation's largest retail and restaurant food chains. She has also worked in the commercial construction industry as the co-founder, former partner and Chief Operations Officer of a small construction management firm in Nashville. Ms. Williams' firm was one of the very few minority construction management firms wholly owned, managed and operated by women in Tennessee. In addition to her law practice, Ms. Williams works as a faculty member at the University of Phoenix, where she teaches various law courses for it's undergraduate and graduate programs. Ms. Williams graduated from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate degree in May of 1995. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and Tennessee and has practiced for over 13 years.
