About Jay Marshall Wolman

Jay Marshall Wolman is a Senior Associate Attorney with the law firm of D'Angelo & Hashem, LLC. At D'Angelo & Hashem, Mr. Wolman has concentrated his practice in civil litigation, with an emphasis on labor and employment matters. Mr. Wolman regularly handles cases involving claims for unemployment benefits, wrongful termination, racial discrimination, rights of individuals with disabilities, sexual harassment, and workplace safety. He practices before the Municipal, District, and Superior Courts of Massachusetts, the Division of Unemployment Assistance, the Department of Industrial Accidents, and the Commission Against Discrimination, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Social Security Administration.

Prior to joining D'Angelo & Hashem, Mr. Wolman worked for the D.C. firm of ADR Associates/ADR Partners. There, he learned and honed skills in conflict management and dispute resolution. He participated in the implementation of the largest class-action settlement with the U.S. government, the landmark civil rights matter of Pigford v. Glickman (the Black Farmers Settlement), serving as counsel to the Office of the Arbitrator. Mr. Wolman has arbitrated or mediated hundreds of cases on behalf of private entities, non-profit organizations and government entities. He was also appointed an Instructor of Alternative Dispute Resolution at Georgetown University Law Center.
