S. businesses concerning Chinese regulatory issues, particularly in the areas of direct investment, technology licensing, cross-border partnerships, Cleantech, telecommunications, privacy, and IPR protection. Mr. Mendel, who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, writes and speaks frequently on issues related to technology and international transactions.
