I Felt Advantaged A few years back I was in a troubling business litigation and felt, like many do, hopeless. My opponent had an aggressive lawyer and an unlimited pool of funds. But like in a wrestling match when a losing grappler gets off his back and pins his opponent, I hired Barry Gogel and everything changed. His first miracle was to make me feel at ease. He was calm, confident, and reassuring. My opponents did not want any sort of compromise which caused us to be in a court room or judge's chambers over and over. That was to their disadvantage since Barry was superb in these encounters. At every single turn Barry out-thought, out-hustled, and out-worked opponent's counsel. Barry's superb preparation and presentation allowed us to thwart them at every stop along the path. Each time we collided, we came out on top. It got to the point where you could almost feel their sense of dread when the arrived in the room where they would have to face Barry in front of a judge. It wasn't long before the harassment aimed at me was over, the case was dropped, and we came out on top. There was no more satisfied feeling than seeing people who bullied you with a grin turn suddenly downtrodden and forlorn. Barry had outfoxed them, and they knew it. I have never been in a situation before in my life where I felt so advantaged. And my advantage was Barry Gogel.
